1.  We need net volume of the products. You can put your products in a container that the volume can be calculated easily such as rectangular cuboid, a measuring cup or a bottle. Please don’t add the spare volume above in the container when giving us the net volume.    

Whatever the shape, size or weight of the inner content such as baking mix, popcorn, dog treat, trail mix , pet food, coconut flour, candies, Snack, nuts, dried fruits, photo chips, cookie dough, pretzels, crunches, fish sticks, or meat balls, the net volume can be achieved in this Way.

2. You decide the pouch width you prefer for your convenience. Please note that this width is not final because Supouches packaging will give your several related widths depending on your preference to choose from. The width we suggested fit our high-end printing press machine and also is the most economical size for cylinder making. Once the width of stand up pouch is determined, the height and bottom gusset will be generated from our formula. Then the size would be tested by stand up pouch prototyping for your confirmation, finally size adjustment should be made when needed.    

3. When the size measurement is at last decided, we will provide the customer with dieline file for artwork design. As we know, this template is indispensible for custom printed stand up pouches if a private label producer want to print their personalized picture onto the pouches.  

4. The last point to be noted is the slight difference of bottom gusset. There are three kinds of bottom gusset styles for stand up pouches, the most traditional style is doyen bottom which is elegantly oval sealed, another two are K sealed bottom and corner sealed bottom that is mainly used for liquid and flour packaging.

But it is for customer to decide the final volume of packed contents and the maximum height to which the pouch will be loaded.
